Culture Warz takes the familiar zombie-survival formula and turns it into an intentionally ridiculous parody of internet culture. Developed and published by Rear Admiral Games, it presents an apocalypse where social media has helped reduce civilization to hordes of meme-inspired zombies. Instead of approaching this premise with horror or dramatic storytelling, the game embraces absurd comedy. The player controls Chad, an exaggerated hero tasked with blasting through enemies representing recognizable online stereotypes. The result is a game that feels more like an interactive internet joke combined with an arcade shooter than a traditional zombie survival experience. Gameplay is presented from a top-down perspective and revolves around surviving increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. The basic controls and objectives are easy to understand: stay mobile, manage incoming crowds, collect useful items, and eliminate as many zombies as possible before they overwhelm you.
