Cursed Ciddy

The game has a lot of potential, but there are a few issues that really need addressing. There’s currently no option to save or autosave, so when I quit, I lost all of my progress. That was pretty frustrating. The screwdriver also seems to have a mind of its own. I kept trying to put it away, but it would repeatedly come back out. (this was in the room I mention next) The biggest issue for me was after completing the colour-code light pad puzzle, when you get trapped in a room. I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do next. After an hour of trying to figure it out, I eventually gave up. There don’t seem to be any hints, and there wasn’t anything obvious to interact with. On top of that, having a monster drag you away every 60 seconds gets pretty annoying, especially when you’re already struggling to work out what the game wants you to do. That said, the music is really cool and the game looks great visually. It definitely has potential, and I hope the developers continue improving it because there’s a good game here underneath these issues so although I don't recommend it, I just don't recommend it at the moment.
