About Cyber Blades - Demo

Have you ever seen a scene in an action movie where a sword is used to cut bullets and strike back?

Cyber Blades is an intense Workout VR game in which you become an Action Star and fight back against the enemy Projectile, In a synthwave-themed world.
The game is challenging enough to burn your Cardio in a short amount of time and you have to constantly dodge obstacles and counter or defend against enemy projectiles.

ABOUT GAMEPLAY IN VR:
- You can try various styles of Run by holding boxing gloves, (reverse grip-able) daggers, swords, Mace, and shields in each hand.

- By selecting the player's hit points, you can exercise continuously regardless of being hit, or try a perfectionist run that doesn't allow even a single hit. Also, you can adjust the intensity of the exercise by adjusting the frequency of appearance of enemies by adjusting the difficulty.

- At the end of each run, the ferocious T-Rex is on the lookout for your life. Infested with fury, this beast unleashes a variety of patterns of Deadly Attacks against players.

"Cyber Blades - Demo" Cyber Blades - Demo is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Cyber Blades". Cyber Blades is abandoned and will never be made. In fact this advertisement itself isn't even complete (an incomplete advert... what great value this has for gamers, not!), it was abandoned over 2 years ago, and is just wasting space here on Steam. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Cyber Blades, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Cyber Blades - Demo" too. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The…

I found this game quite entertaining! It booted up fine without any issues, the UI is clear and the game mechanics are solid and responsive. The design, synthwave audio track and the TRex boss are all spot on and work very well with the retro feel. From what I can tell it's made by a solo developer and shows a lot of promise of something great and entertaining when it's more fleshed out. It's important to know this is not a complete game like say Pistol Whip, it's worth the couple of $$ if you love the aesthetics, fancy a quick workout & support the developer to keep refining it.
