✦ AI summary

Players criticize Cyborg Runner as a low-effort asset flip that uses uncredited Unreal Marketplace assets without proper development or optimization, while also noting severe performance issues that require high-end hardware to run smoothly. The game itself is a simple endless runner mechanic with minimal content, though some appreciate that achievements can be completed quickly. Overall, players view it as a cash grab with little legitimate game development behind it.

Collect skulls to finish your run, or if the death of you will finish the run for you. Use those cyborg legs of yours and run, son. RUN!
The Game of The Play
The game is pretty simple: you run down a road containing obstacles, which increase the further you get. You move with the usual W A D, allowing the player to stop completely and pickup skulls, or you just run the entire time and see where it gets you. Further information about the skulls: the player must collect 300 skulls to complete the run, or, so to speak, be victorious. The deeper the player gets, the harder it will get, with more obstacles that will kill the player.   The game currently only has one game mode, and it's unclear if there will be more. Just slap in some walls and floors, along with a character and some skulls and spiky bombs, given no textur…
Warning: Asset Flip! Cyborg Runner is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unreal Marketplace assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bare basic Unreal blueprint for a third person action game and dumped a bunch of low effort/placeholder stock assets on it... this is one of the laziest asset flips I've seen from Tero Lunkka, and that's saying a lot based on just how lazy he is as far as asset flip scammers go. It has no value or merit as a real game. Candy games studios/Tero Lunk…

Cyborg Runner is a 3D version of a typical NES scroller. The player grabs the blue skulls while avoiding the hazards which get more abundant as play continues. The game's graphics come across as smallish compared to a scroller. The game has no options for graphics settings and is one size fits all. Play testing on my Lenovo T14 get 4-6 fps suggesting a laptop with a dedicated GPU will be needed to get 60 fps. Probably a GTX 1080 or so would be good at 1920x1080.
