A light hearted Creature tamer light, made by a very passionate dev. Some of the jokes in the game made me crack and its clearly very self aware of that. I can feel its a bit open ended specially with some of the most difficult fights. Im impressed by the amount of creaturers and unique designs and the dev actively listens to feedback and applies changes. I did not engage further with the game than a couple of towns but I can see some traits of having a good dev for the game. Try it is fun and entertaining.3 found this helpful

I've only just started playing this game and I like it alot. So far, the game has provided really great instructions on how to play and best practices. Pretty interesting concept. reminds me of another game I played as a teen. I will come back later and post another review as I get further along in the game, but so far ....so good2 found this helpful
Absolutely loving my time with D.A.M. Champion! If you're into classic RPGMaker games, this one is a real gem. It’s a super fun creature collector that instantly gave me those nostalgic vibes of older Pokémon and Digimon titles—exploring, battling, and building your team just feels so satisfying. What really stood out to me are the awesome nods to its inspirations. You can clearly feel the influence of series like Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter woven into the world and characters, which adds a lot of charm and personality. Overall, it’s a great mix of nostalgia and fresh ideas. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy creature collectors or indie RPGs!1 found this helpful
First things first: I've had a key to stream this game, which I agreed upon + I'll write an honest review. Game is being made by a SOLO DEV and low priced. With that in mind, see below: Played for about 1h30mins: Positives: + Plays pretty fast, you jump straight into action + Fun to battle with 3 of your team members at once, like Dragon Warrior Monster games + Fast to reach evolutions, decent level curve + Not too hard / easy at this point (playing on medium difficulty) + Designs are pretty cool so far, obviously I don't like all monsters, but that's in any monster catching game + Info is pretty easy to get, lots of guides that help you in the first area, innovative recruitment system. + Karma system + Story didn't really get me that invested, BUT it doesn't have to. I want to get new monsters and fight with them, so that's what I'm doing. The conversations are pretty fun so far though. + You can skip most trainers/monsters if you want to / if you feel overleveled. - I had one random crash early game (but you can save super fast everywhere) - A bit hard/grindy to get your favourite mons early game, due to the recruitment system. But I guess it's fun to work for your rare monster…1 found this helpful
