✦ AI summary

Players praise Dangerous Games: Prisoners of Destiny as a well-crafted hidden object game with creative visuals, clear puzzle instructions, and good pacing between object-finding and mini-games. The standout card mechanic and imaginative fantasy world are appreciated, though some find the surreal, fragmented story and disorienting worldbuilding to be confusing rather than cohesive. Overall, it's considered a solid entry in the genre worth replaying despite its narrative quirks.

One of the better HOGs. I liked the use of cards in the game; they added an interesting element. I liked the story. And the art is creative and imaginative. This is an HOG that I'll replay.

Dangerous Games: Prisoners of Destiny creates a fantasy world that is both a nonsense hallucination and somehow familiar. I think it is because the game seems like several hidden object games (HOG) I have already played got chopped up and then tossed into the same salad bowl together. There is an overall motif about games of chance, but then there is a whole bunch of unrelated weirdness thrown in that is consistently disorienting. Wonderland seems sane compared to this game world, though they contain approximately the same amount of menace. Game theme aside, this is a well made HOG. There is a great balance between hidden object screens and puzzle mini-games throughout. The puzzles have the clearest instructions of any HOG I've played. The hidden object screens are beautifully rendered so that the inability to find an object will absolutely not be due to low quality art as with some games. I recommend Dangerous Games: Prisoners of Destiny because it is a strong HOG, but caution that the story and theme may or may not be appealing. And speaking of unappealing ... I am still conflicted about that purple rabbit monkey gremlin your depression-era-textile-worker avatar so casually ado…
