Hidden Object: Prison Diaries overall has an intriguing concept of stepping into the shoes of an FBI profiler interviewing some of the most notorious real life serial killers/cultists to create psychological profiles to decide what made them them end up as they did. Unfortunately its really badly written and executed. Badly voiced and far to lighthearted in its approach considering the severe actions of these madmen. I also found the portrayals and conclusions for the perpetrators actions borderline problematic. Gameplay wise the difficulty is very easy and you will find yourself looking for the same things at the same spots repeatedly. One redeeming quality of the game is that the player via the ingame archive can access the killers wikipedia profiles so people can further their knowledge of the matter. That feature can also be used to take screenshots on the internet. Not very interesting. Same objects in the same place over and over. no variety. really play 6 levels over and over. boring4 found this helpful
Quite happy with this, nice enough plot line, and reasonable difficulty hidden object puzzles. Fairly short to beat but given how much I paid for it that's fine by me1 found this helpful
