America. 2025.The government is non-existent and society, struggling against pollution, stagnation, catastrophic climate change and gang warfare, is at the point of collapse. You are a highway warrior for hire, taking on contracts to keep the few laws that exist, in check. You battle against roving gangs to control the dangerous roads and earn a living in these dangerous times.
Tool up your vehicle with a range of weapons and upgrades and head out into The Big Empty. Explore this darkly absurd land, with danger and destruction at every turn.
Customise your vehicle with a variety of weapons - from powerful ballistic artillery, to searing high-tech lasers and makeshift deployable explosives - all designed to cause maximum havoc and destruction on the roads.
Fight against a range of dangerous gangcults in dramatic locations, with jaw-dropping physics and visual effects, all powered by Unreal Engine 4.
Take full control of the chaotic carnage with Command Mode. Slow time down and issue orders to your vehicles in a real time strategy game unlike any other. Choose the right combination of weapons and car upgrades to put the enemy down for good.
Customise your car with special upgrades to suit your playstyle. Want to go totally offensive? Upgrade your Combat Lasers and Multi-Missile Launchers to cause maximum damage. Use your character's special abilities to outwit and outmaneuver the opposition. Put the brakes on your enemies with Road Spikes and Concussion Mines to stop them dead in their tracks. Invest in your Ramming Boost to chase down enemies and smash them off the road. Use these to maximise your payday and keep the dollars rolling in.

[h1] Tactical racing game set in post apocaliptic world. Take on missions to get some dough and become no#1 renegade in Dark Future. Missions include: escort, eliminating bad guys and gang wars. Gameplay is done in real time and each action have shortcut assigned somewhere on your keyboard however if situation get out of control switch to tactical mode, having enough time to make crucial decisions. Protecting multiple vehicles is not smooth as butter and some missions might get a bit intense especially boss battles. After each successful mission upgrade your junk. Improve engine to carry more addons, get better weapons or gear. Improvements like shields (front, side and rear), front weapon, turret which can hit anything around your car and if you want to leave a small surprise behind, rear weapons including mines, bombs and other nasty stuff. How much vehicle can carry is determined by engine which can be upgraded to carry more weight. On the contrary levels are a bit bland without any interesting scenery, they lack some more variety on the road and overall around. After a while game also gets repetitive. Game breaking bug in this that the dev obviously isn't going to fix. but doesn't mind taking my money though. Obviously been abandoned. No updates at all in years, no bug fixes, patches, nothing. Steam really should take these games down. - but they won't because every purchase, they still get their cut, however small. How this game is still £20.99 with game breaking bugs is just the highest level of piss take imaginable - Even in a heavy discount you should NOT buy this game. Thankfully I never paid this, but I did pay a couple of quid or something.... but I can't get a refund either. Just another game to go into the digital wastebin of "♥♥♥♥ games that shouldn't be on steam" I repeat... DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. You have been warned!1 found this helpful
Fun RTS tactical racing game. Also a good recreation of the old boardgame and very unique
it's old, it doesn't like it when you alt-tab, there's no difficulty options, but...it IS fun
A faithful recreation of the old boardgame, its a shame they didn't keep the original OPs car design though, even as a DLC.
