The long peace has been broken, not by man but by nature its self. Something has awoken a anger within the world and the plant and animal life have been possessed by rage. The world had gotten used to peace and are not prepared to to defend them selves from this attack, an attack from everywhere. Some try to defend their homes. Some travel north to reach to gates of the kingdom. Many die. What will you do? Are you ready to be a hero?

In this world your greatest dream and your worse nightmare come true at once as you are forced to become the hero you always dreamt of. However life as a hero is much darker and harder than you ever expected. It comes with great pain and great loss. And you will learn no hero can do it alone.

Darkness Blooms mixes action adventure in the style of Link To The Past with turn based team combat in the style of Final Fantasy. As you gain strength you will be able to defeat small foes with a single swing avoiding any need to fall into combat. Bosses however will take the whole team in formation and with a strategy in mind. Each unlockable character comes with their own skills and abilities both inside and outside of combat. A strong defender, a fast thief, an empathetic healer, a curious explorer, and more. The story will take you from your small boring town to explore the whole world and see and experience things you could not have believed possible. And maybe you will make some friends along the way.
