Darkness Revenge

I got this game for four bucks. I first played Jill – the female MC. She’s attractive in the most conventional way imaginable but she [b]is[/b] attractive. And for a Ren’Py game it’s not bad. Not much in the way of animation. Lots of stockings to cover up the mediocre character rigging, no sex sounds, but at least the music is actual background music rather than horrible pop songs with singers and lyrics. And plenty of girl/girl scenes. Some of them bordering on erotic and could have been truly erotic but they’re all short, short, short with just little bits of animation here and there. Plus, at least one of the Love Interests has boobs smaller than the Graf Zeppelin. Two things, however, deeply disappointed me about this game. First, the Nathan path – the Male MC. Here the dialog turned to the usual cringe-provoking nonsense that tells me that the developer has never charmed a woman with his conversation. It makes no sense that Amanda and Annie fall for him. ENG: Darkness Revenge, Hematite's first work in Ren'py and second overall after the less successful Bust a Date, opens with an account of the first day of the trial of Donal Patterson, a wealthy and prominent self-made industrialist and well-loved philanthropist, accused of conspiracy, money laundering and tax evasion. We then meet his accusers, Special Agents Nathan Moore and Jill Morris, who, armed with hundreds of pages of evidence and reports, believe they can prove the man’s criminal activities in court. However, despite being hidden in an undisclosed location, they are brutally murdered by four criminals during a raid. Shortly thereafter, however, mysterious individuals reach the crime scene, and the woman leading them has time to choose to "save" only one of them. Three months after being "reborn" as a vampire, Nathan or Jill (protagonist of player's choice) will have the chance to avenge their fate by seeking justice with honor or by giving in to more sadistic and violent impulses. Scratches an itch the same way syrupy gas station romance novels do. I enjoyed it a lot, would buy again and all that, but a masterpiece it is not, and that's okay. Navigate the night carefully, girlies!

In my opinion this AVN was very fun and interesting to play if it's on sale give it a try. The only thing I disliked from this game was there are some slight translation issues if it was translated if it wasn't it has some off dialogue and certain points in the dialogue it's unclear who is talking (Think some of the times the dialogue box has the wrong character name on it)!

I like it so far, but you have very little control over anything. Also, the translation to English isn't great. There's also one character, who is so stupid that it's not even funny. She's legitimately mentally challenged and she's a love interest. The whole thing feels completely wrong. Also, the main character is ugly and has stupid hair. Another thing, the dialogue is crap. I don't even know why I'm recommending this except that I like vampires.

Darkness Revenge is a visual novel where you've cheated death by turning into a vampire and then go on a mission to discover who is responsible for killing you so you can exact your revenge. Along the way, you meet a bunch of smoking hot vampires to ♥♥♥♥ along the way. Early on, you can choose whether to play as Nathan or Jill and while the overall story and certain encounters are the same, there are a number of different encounters and you'll likely play through with both characters, assuming you enjoy the first playthrough well enough. The story is fine, nothing groundbreaking, but it's coherent and enjoyable. Jill is a smoke show, as are a few other characters -- the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics could be a bit better, but overall the renders in the game are pretty good and there are some good animations to be found. I think the $9.99 full price is pretty fair. *Images are uncensored and without mosaic.
