Charming Blood

[b]I guess I have that newly turned vampire rizz (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧[/b] Charming Blood has you play as a young man who you name in the beginning of the game. The protagonist’s life hasn’t exactly been going the way he has hoped (or planned). He expected his life to change for the better when he moved to a new city so he can go to art school to pursue photography, but it has not. It pretty much as stayed the same, just in a gloomier setting. Though, it isn’t all that bad as there are some silver linings. Like the apartment building being pretty quiet and his across-the-hall neighbor Victoria is really nice. Little did our protagonist know that the change he wanted is going to come very soon. It may not have been what he wanted, but it’s definitely a drastic turn. After his nap turned into a sleep (I know the pain buddy) and having to take on a terrible night gig so he could keep his job, he returns to a dark apartment complex due to the lights being out. That day was clearly not his day and it was only solidified as a series of events causes him to meet an early, embarrassing, death. Except, he doesn’t die. He wakes up. Need more gaaaaaame. Need more Victoriaaaaaaaa

First of all, I absolutely love the main character (the one you get to name at the beginning). There’s something very personal about playing as him, and I got really attached. At times, I even felt genuinely sorry for him. His life keeps spiraling into something completely new and unknown, and there’s no going back to the way things were. As for the main heroines - they’re fantastic. Vi stands out the most for me. She has this magnetic charm and mysterious vibe that immediately pulls you in. There’s something about her presence that makes you feel connected to her right away. Mina, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. Sometimes she comes off as pushy or overwhelming, but I feel like that’s intentional to create contrast and honestly, it works well. Kate is also very intriguing. She gives off that classic old-vampire energy, full of secrets and style reminiscent of vintage vampire sagas. I’m really looking forward to seeing more of her story. And then there’s Alexs - such a fun character. She adds humor and energy to the story, and helps balance out the more intense or emotional moments. Day 6 was absolutely wild. This game has been in development for 1 year and it doesn't even have a single ending yet, and is no longer in early access for some reason. It's a shame because there's a good premise for a story, but the amount of content in this only enough for a demo and not enough for a full game worth purchasing. I played for about 1 hour 40 minutes before reaching day 4/12 where the game currently ends, the hours on record is wrong for some reason.
