Data Mining 3 is a simple mobile-tier 2D retro/neon/minimalist physics puzzle game. Shoot a ball around a small puzzle area to collect the pages of data then exit. The ball mechanics work a bit like pool and the game doesn't feel horrible to play. The problem is that this is Steam, not a mobile phone app store. The game is just like the games you can play free on mobile. Resolution is locked and can't be changed. It's impossible for me to recommend anyone should pay money for something that's like a free mobile app, just so they can pretend their PC is an iPhone.

Obstacles such as traps, portals, speed-altering tiles, and corrupted data force players to think spatially and react precisely, especially as later stages combine multiple mechanics at once. The rules are consistent and readable, which allows the challenge to come from execution and obs…
