About Day Repeat Day
Day Repeat Day is an interactive story and a match-3 game that takes you through the years in a life of an average person. You're hired to do a job. You try to manage your relationships. But you're never really sure where it's all leading to. It's a story about living, the daily grind and what it all means in the end, topped with a sprinkle of satire and mysteries.

After doing a lot of action games, I wanted to do something much more intimate and personal and Day Repeat Day is what came of it. I hope you find it a meaningful experience!

Really enjoyed this one! Got sent here by John Walker's Buried Treasures and wasn't disappointed.1 found this helpful
I really liked it. It's a bit weird since it's sort of a match 3 game for people who don't really like match 3 games? The chat and story were very nice.1 found this helpful
Like Emily is Away, but for jobs under capitalism instead of old social media, and you do the job as match-3 game. Also some of the clients have janky Hypnospace-Outlaw-style websites you can visit. Decide how seriously to take your job for an increasingly hypercapitalist company. Do your best to support the people you care about, or don't, and see what happens. Very well thought out, well written, and heartfelt. Also there's janky Hypnospace-style websites and experimental film interludes.1 found this helpful
i really enjoyed the game and its social commentary. the gameplay is simple, the story is compelling, and the music is beautiful. ironically, this was the first time i played a match 3 game, and i enjoyed that part too. i do also have some criticism. if you want to get to the heart of the story, you need to solve some intricate non-obvious puzzles. i couldn't do them on my own, so the basic story and the ending looked rather grim for me. i had to follow a guide to get to that final and crucial reveal and a hopeful ending. nonetheless, i do recommend checking out the game! i feel like it's a bit under underappreciated with only 30-something reviews... if you're here and are reading this, please consider this post a direct advice from me to you to check out the game :)
An enthralling little game as deep as an ocean. Thank you.
Really enjoyed the story & choices you could make in this game. Lots of optional secrets to unlock for some bonus lore if you want to deep-drive into that as well. The match 3 gameplay is fairly easy, but they expand on it later on & it gets a little harder with a bit of randomness. It resets the board if there are no matches to be made & after a few seconds it highlights suggested matches.
