Dead Ground:Arena is an action packed FPS VR shooter, ready to get your heart skip a beat during exciting standoffs with infected creatures.

To fulfill their objectives, players can choose from twenty different weapons to take down thirty different, horrific enemies. Missions range from protecting hostages and VIPs to fighting your way out of ever-swelling hordes in a confined space. Dead Ground: Arena supports teleport movement through the VR controller and direct player movement and comes with a variety of graphic settings to fit each player’s hardware requirements and provide a seamless immersive experience.

Players can choose from a range of difficulty settings — after completing normal mode, a more challenging experience awaits in veteran mode.

This is definitely one of the good wave shooters. You get plenty of weapons as well as good looking maps in Dead Island atmosphere style. Overall I think developers were very much inspired by Dead Island. The action is fast and fun. Weapon handling great. Controls are sometimes a bit difficult, especially when it becomes fast and hectic. There could be some more improvements to make it more smooth, even if you have controller locomotion & trackpad teleportotion. Here is some gameplay. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x61Wd-5gj-Y Price seems to be okay for the game, since it is, as I mentionned a very decent wave shooter with zombies. A bright look in the masses of not so good VR games. I will definitely come back and play some more. Otherwise, just wait for a sale.

It's your typical survive waves of zombies by shooting them kinda game, but in VR, each gun feels different too, like you can dual wield pistols are used both hands for a machine gun, really fun. https://youtu.be/s3_LuUt7dpQ

Good game. Weapons are satisfying just like the demo. Not wave shooter. It's got teleport, free movement. Some levels have objectives.

Video Review --- https://youtu.be/91vvOJE2mb0 Hope you are all doing well today its my turn to review Dead Ground Arena I came to this game expecting something bad , as the reviews on steam were negative at t he moment of the review. i have to say the game manages to make it sligtly more interesting each level while providing the same gameplay at the core. The game does have its issues but its still was enjoyable. it took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to beat and i will recommend this game only if you get it on sale, because replay ability is low. That said ... the developers are cooking another game called DeadGroundZ - it uses the same gameplay mechanics but shows promise and most of the bugs and issues of the old game are corrected .

Not a bad little Zombie wave shooter - I actually enjoyed it! Played much worse on VR. If you can crank up your AA setting to Ultra / High, lower shadow detail, the game looks pretty good. Purchased for a couple of pounds from a third party website. Definitely, worth at least a fiver!, running pretty well on my GTX 980. Go head and buy it in the sales! :)
