Dead Take

If you like walking around a giant mansion, getting jumpscared once in a while, watching "movies" with people you've seen/heard in different formats, and doing convoluted puzzles, then this game is for you. The game holds your hand in some aspects, but in others it gifts you a puzzle set and takes the box away. The game honestly feels like multiple demos strung together and added movies to pad for time. In terms of "horror" or "psychological horror", the only things scary was the snake mist in the pool area and the knocking every time you watch a video that progressed you. Personally, not worth 15 buckaroos.

Very entertaining linear game, lots of cool moments and most of the cast is shown through real videos taken by some of the VAs involved.

Captivating puzzle horror game. I got sucked into the story, the atmosphere and honestly, the scarejumps worked nicely on me... You get to explore the mansion, rebuild the backstory of the characters and fall into the constant "what's happening in my mind" psycological horror side. The inclusion of real video by the VA involved was a new refreshing take, very related to the main argument the story is developed around. I must admit i was driven here after the watching the YT game interview and gameplay between the two main characters great and talented actors, Neil Newbon and Ben Starr (hilarious and revealing at the same time) which added an extra deep layer about the story: right after finishing the game, I had to go immediately to the interview to check that those two fine gentleman were actually ok.... Nice work, thank you!

Great game! I loved every part of it, some achievements can be a bit confusing/tedious but over all, great stories and fun sp00ky puzzles! I am happy to have finally 100% the game!

Really enjoyable game. Puzzles are challenging but not like overwhelming. I think the first one to get in the house was the one that took me the most time.
