Players praise the game's strong Resident Evil nostalgia and atmospheric design, with engaging gameplay and good Portuguese voice acting keeping some players hooked despite its flaws. However, common complaints center on numerous bugs (inventory system losing items, collision issues, animation problems), poor English translation, clunky mechanics like the Focus system, and optimization issues causing excessive CPU temperatures, with some feeling the developer's priorities are misaligned given the game's unfinished state.
Badly designed, very buggy. I crafted a floppy disk when the bag was full and the item was gone. Dev can't even add a warning message? 🤦♂️ I just saw they said they're gonna improve sound effect and cinematic next patch. SERIOUSLYYYY????6 found this helpful
Crafted with passion by a close-knit group of friends, the game draws inspiration from the legendary Resident Evil series. It cleverly incorporates gameplay mechanics like a restricted inventory system, challenging players with limits on item management. Additionally, saving progress on a computer via floppy disks adds a nostalgic flair to the gaming experience. Enhancing these elements is a captivating soundtrack, immersing players in an atmospheric ambiance reminiscent of the Resident Evil universe. While the game is not free from bugs, the developers are actively working to address them. One notable issue is the English translation, which is not perfect. Nonetheless, I recommend this game for fans of the old Resident Evil games, as it offers an atmospheric experience that closely resembles that of the iconic series. infelizmente o jogo apresenta um aspecto de inacabado incontáveis bugs e problemas de colisão o ponto positivo é a dublagem em PT/BR (porém a do Inimigo do machado não está boa)5 found this helpful
This game took me back to my teenage years in the 90s. The Resident Evil vibe makes this game amazing and super addictive. It hooked me in a way that I couldn't stop playing, exploring every corner of the scenery, killing every zombie, and seeing how the story unfolds. I just love it. I highly recommend this game to all horror game fans, especially to Resident Evil fans.3 found this helpful
A buggy, badly voice acted game with horrible animations and some of the most annoying item pickups ever. And I would not have it in any other way! This stupid cheap game reminds me of the original Resident Evil games so much, that I had trouble stopping playing even though I have to go to work in the morning. I hope that the devs fix item pickups and "cutscene" animations some day but even if not I will still gladly see this game through. 75/100, would give 80/100 if the Focus mechanic wasn't so clunky and slow to use.1 found this helpful
UPDATE: I found a way to lower my laptop temperature by 30°C by preventing the CPU turbo mode from exceeding 4.6 GHz (default max turbo speed is 5.4 GHz). So I changed my review. But I probably won't buy this game again or play it. Why? I saw a "full gameplay" video on YouTube that was only 1.5 hours long. So it is a short game. It could be slightly better than some other indie games that I saw, but I would prefer more police and more content. The game has potential, but it needs a lot more polish. I have a 5070 Ti and Ultra Core 9 275 HX. With my PredatorSense fans set to Max speed, the game still caused my CPU Temperature to reach 96°C. I exited out of the game and lowered all of my graphic settings, but then the graphics looked like crap and the CPU Temperature still wanted to spike to 92°C sometimes. I don't have that problem in other games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 or The Casting of Frank Stone. I don't like how I have to exit to the Main Menu anytime I want to change a Keybind or change a Graphics setting. There was no way to Auto Save or do a Manual Save at the beginning of Chapter 1. So anytime that I exited to the Main Menu, I had to start the game from the very beginning. Ev…
