I actually really enjoyed this - I like how many things are able to be interacted with and how strange a lot of it is. It did a good job of giving you that eerie feeling as if you actually were doing urban exploration. When you did find or solve something it was very satisfying as well. It is a tiny bit rough around the edges but the ambience and exploration aspects are great and I really enjoy the art style. I did finish act 1 (most of my playtime was offline) but i'm not 100% sure i did everything I could have; it's hard to tell

Death in a Party: ACT I is a really strange horror adventure that I ended up enjoying because it feels so different from the usual horror games. I start by returning to the abandoned remains of Mannyland, a theme park that has been forgotten for years. At first it feels more like exploring an old piece of childhood nostalgia than playing a horror game, but there is something uncomfortable underneath it all. I liked that feeling because the game takes its time before showing me just how wrong everything really is. The point and click gameplay is simple, with most of my time spent exploring locations, clicking on objects and talking to people. I have to pay attention to the environment because small details can give me clues about what I should investigate next. I enjoyed this old school approach because it makes me look around instead of constantly following obvious objectives. There is also a choice element that makes some conversations and situations feel more personal. The setting is easily my favourite part. really fun yet eerie ambiance, awesome style and craftsmanship in the drawing of each pannels! i thouroughly enjoy the urbex vibe of this oddly haunting abandoned theme park. though.. im not sure if i absolutely suck at this or if its qa bit buggy but i feel like i clicked on every possible pixel of every frame and im still stuck.. combinaisons that should make sense or be obvious leads nowhere and often leave me to be puzzled and running circles.. do not be fooled. i will figure it out even if it takes me days, i am just running out of "logical" moves to try and get places
