SO! Foremost the hentai and porn in this game 10/10 the artwork is insanely good got off to the artwork alone! however the dialogue could use some tweaks! I did play on the hard mode of the game and it is very unforgiving I find myself loosing not due to lack of skill but rather how unfair it is The Silver lining though is there is an easy mode so you don't need to really worry to much OVERALL I can recommend this game to anyone who wants a good jerk or slick!

I'm not going to talk about the combat in this review as playing the demo I wasn't sure I "got" it. I made a thread about that but here I'm going to review the rest of the experience. Specifically the fact that there's not much of it: Steam says I finished the game in 72 minutes. Most of the areas are big and empty (to be fair there's a Lost Woods maze and a town/underground dungeon I kind of liked). No real story, no other characters, no quests or side content. Personally the content was not to my taste (I played because the artist also illustrated one of my favorite RPGs) but I get the sense that I'm not the target audience for these games. I assume the target audience still cares about the amount of adult content? This is what the game has: * Six enemies with combat images (half are types of goblin) * Each of those enemies also has a custom game over scene * Three random other scenes + brief ending I would have missed almost all of this if you didn't unlock a gallery by winning (losing to enemies would take forever given damage vs HP). This is one of those games I really wish steam had a "maybe" selection for the recommendation selection But at the end the deciding factor is the $15 price tag, the 3 hours includes having to restart after an hour of gameplay cause I forgot RPG maker only has manual saves and getting jumped by an instant loss cutscene game over. Positives: -Good human art -Story is amusing -subjective: the random english/strayan slang segments of dialogue are funny -good variety in scenes Negatives: -Combat seems like a formality (changing to hard mode just makes it a more annoying formality) -Poor amounts of money and no xp feed into this -EXTREMELY SHORT -The forest's "hint" system still leading to 2-3 possible failed directions between each hint feels like massive padding -the chaser of the forest having a massive hitbox being able to spawn in the needed path right as you're approaching instantly pulling you into combat and respawning after only 2 or so rooms makes this even more tedious -one of the "rooms" having no leeway to avoid flower damage is just unpleasant -instant fail scenarios just kinda spring up (there's only 2 but there's not much warning for them) overall, the game is fine, i…

So I tried the demo of Deathblight Jormungandr because of the art. I bought the game hoping there'd be more to it but there isn't. So I'd recommend only buying it if it's under $5. Pro: Art is good. Works on steam deck. ( game does black screen sometimes but that seems to be a RPG maker thing) Cons: The game is hard. Not dark souls hard like the developer said. just RNG hard. As said above the fights are rng hard and there's no exp so you'll spend most of the time dodging the enemies. There's not much to do the easy mode really shows it I beat the game in 20 min. That's with me messing around in the forest too. Minor nitpicks the character name is Loki and that bugs me. The kissing animations are bad. As I said before only buy this heavily discounted and use Peters guide.

Just lose 15$ at the casino at that point because at least you will have hope you might make your money back for 10 minutes on the penny machines and then be depressed after losing that 15$. PORN WITH A LEARNING CURVE So I wanna establish two things before I go into the review itself. 1 - I have yet to complete the full game at the time of writing. However, I have completed the first area in its entirety, mostly so I could compare and contrast with the same area as it existed in the demo that was first released. So while I have not seen everything, by this point I feel I have a solid grasp on the system and what the game provides and expects of me. 2 - I am a long time supporter of Wolfenstahl and Crescentia, the creators of the game, following their various Deathblight series over the years. As such, my review is going to be biased toward positive simply because I want to support them however I can. That said, I will still try to be fair when giving my review. Now on to the review itself. Short answer: It's a great game! But it's also a difficult game and you have to go in with a certain mindset for expecting failure and learning to mitigate losses. I won't say it's "The Dark Souls of H-Games" because I wouldn't call it that punishing to that degree, but the game definitely requires you to take it seriously and it won't hold your hand if you make a mistake.
