Deck Box Dungeons is a fantasy themed dungeon crawler with a companion app that fits in a deck box.
Each player builds their adventurer by selecting a character card, equipment card, and special abilities card. Builds can range from a standard stealthy rogue with daggers, to a mage that wields a greatsword. Players must work together to slay monsters, complete encounters, and achieve the goal of their quest. Each quest has a different goal, from escorting a priest to complete a ritual to killing a giant troll that has been terrorizing a nearby town.
This companion app handles the quests and encounters allowing for quick setup times and streamlined gameplay. Random encounters and quest generation provides variety and replayability even when playing the same adventures.

Deck Box Dungeons is not a game. It's a mobile app software assistant for a real world card game of the same name. This was dumped on Steam as a game, erroneously. There are no game loops, and this software has no function or utility for gamers unless they're trying to play Deck Box Dungeons. It's a common mistake for developers unfamiliar with Steam or developers who don't know the difference between games and non-game software like Deck Box Dungeons to dump such software into the wrong category on Steam. I won't go too deeply into the companion card game, it's outside of the scope of a Steam game review, but to put it mildly, it doesn't seem very successful, as SteamDB shows a one-time peak two years ago of just 97 players, and now the game switches between 0-1 players on any given day. That was a waste of $100 listing a non-game onto Steam as a game then, wasn't it? Two basic problems here obviously prevent me from recommending this. First, it's a mobile app, and mobile trash doesn't belong on PC. Secondly, it's not a game.
