It has been more than 10 years since the first Roman legions landed in Britannia.

My Defense of Roman Britain Video Review: https://youtu.be/YfSBoPJiONo Does Defense of Roman Britain deserve to be chosen for playing among many other similar tower defense games? One can find some positives speaking in its favor - an attractive historical background, some original ideas like convoys, presence of quests, interesting systems of weapon upgrades, big number of enemy units types, solid economic model, challenging yet not frustrating difficulty, user friendly interface, nice graphics and… However, there are also many downsides - not very interesting story and its presentation, some enemies approach your convoy almost immediately, some shortcuts cut more than half of the path for enemies, special weapons and spells are not very effective, the game plays almost all its cards in the first few levels, so there is not much to discover later, low differences between enemy’s infantry units, unpredictability of air units’ paths, only few music tracks and the absence of dubbing. Thanks to easy accessibility and simple mechanics the game is suitable for playing with kids that can learn something about the history and develop their strategic thinking.
Defense of Roman Britain

Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty simple, you as a Centurion just need to put all sorts of towers to protect your base from the so-called barbarians who want to take over.
Graphics
The graphics are satisfactory, but considering the full price of the game, I would expect better graphics.
Background Music
There is no music here, only the sound of guns
Price
The game should cost at least 2 times less than the current price, no matter what region, for full price it is better not to buy and it will be better to wait for sales
Others
It takes less than 12 hours to get through the game on normal difficulty, mostly the problem is that you need to farm rubies to pump your guns. It's nice that the game is translated into many languages.3 found this helpful
Defense of Roman Britain is a free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a lazy, cheap cash grab. It's a 2D mobile app tier Tower Defense game. It's lazy and unpolished. Tower selection is limited and unengaging, just like the rest of the gameplay. It's fine concept but badly implemented and feels more like a mobile app than a serious PC game. People wanting a real decent TD game should consider the Kingdom Rush, Sanctum or Orcs Must Die franchises. Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. They want $7 USD for this free mobile app! Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone.1 found this helpful
Simple game not worth full price but if you can get it for $3 or $4 then it's not bad at all.
A tower defense game with the Roman army involved! Fun and simple game that can get addicting! https://youtu.be/UuWUsjNsXwk
