definition of pay to play, progress without buying upgrades with real money, is miniscule This is a terrible ''game'', designed to draw every cent out of you, if you insist on playing this

You can immediately tell it’s a mobile port brought to PC, no doubt about it. Still, it does what it promises: it’s fun and keeps you hooked for a while. That said, after some time it starts to feel a bit repetitive, like it’s missing a bit more variety so it doesn’t always fall into the same loop. That being said, the overall experience is positive. It’s not a masterpiece by any means, but it works really well as a game to kill some time and just zone out for a bit.

Simply converted from mobile OS to pc OS. They have done nothing at all to improve the game or add more features. They have only made it playable for pc. Translations to other languages are broken. Even the " Send me a message " option for when the bank is full is still there but on pc there is no way for u to recieve it xD what a joke of a pc game. It is obvious they only did this so people would fall for the micro transaction scheme seeing as the game is basicly unbeatable if you dont pay for it or have 3+ years of daily grinding.

Where to start? At first, unhappy that i did not notice this was a mobile game, and paid for it for PC! Steam, there should be a clear tag sayin "this is a mobile game"! Sure, addictive, got to kill that next wave, but... tactical?, zero to very little, strategy? non-existent, despite the claims of the game Sure, it's Rome, that counts for something, but with a limited (partial) map Sure, different soldier types to work with, but now way to control apart which unit in which wave Javelins, overpowered clearly Replayability? as far as i can tell non-existent... 800+ hours of game-play - make that 600 hours waiting time to generate denari whilst playing another game Now at a point everything is maxed out, no more purpose for the denari generated. Looking at the difficulty level of what still do, can't be done without the cards in the game wich you earn slowly every day if one doesn't want to pay for it ( and I don't) sure they have been keeping you busy untill that time : defend your base city, conquer the map (which they call 'colonize'), unlock heros, unlock mercenaries (nope, not available everywhere, you can only use them t conquer the map) defend your colonies, play in …

Grow Empire: Rome is a nice little game, made in a simple cartoon style. The player is tasked with taking over various cities in Italia (Italy), Gaul (France), Hispania (Spain), and Aegyptus (Egypt) - as well as defending cities from attacks. Each battle takes place at the gates of a city (it is just a basic cartoon game, so don't expect too much detail from it - there won't be fighting in the streets, nor major strategic planning). You have to build up the skills/quality of your Roman units, so as to give them the ability to vanquish harder enemies. It definitely becomes a grind-fest after a while, so settle in for the long haul if you want to take over the world. But you could just play a few city fights, and then leave it at that, if you are so inclined. I like the game, despite the grind, as it's just a bit of fun - so I would recommend it on that basis.
