About Demon Corporation: Onboarding

Corporate Judge: Ctrl+Alt-Get Even! This RPG Maker-crafted strategy game weaponizes your workplace trauma into cathartic combat. Experience the ultimate "anti-hustle" fantasy of toppling toxic CEOs and yeeting unreasonable deadlines into the void.Warning to Under-35 Wage Slaves: May cause accidental deployment of sass during performance reviews. Handle with care.

GamePlay: Tower of Druaga + Persona

Gameplay blends Tower of Druaga's tactical battles with Persona's social mechanics, remixed with puzzle-solving (imagine rearranging Jira tickets), match-3 stress relief (combo those TPS reports!), and roguelike office politics.

Story: Rookie Programmer meets Mysterious Cat

Set in Cyber-Tokyo's corporate dystopia, you play as Togawa Tsubasa - a rookie programmer who accidentally sold her soul to Blackstone Corp. By day, she's a code monkey surviving micromanagement hell. By night, her consciousness rebels in the Midnight World after meeting Vita, a glitch-spewing cat who turns corporate jargon into combat spells.

Recruit fellow broken souls from accounting purgatory and HR hellscape. Weaponize their burnout as special abilities. Storm the C-suite labyrinth where your manager's "culture-building exercises" have literally summoned a KPI Demon.

You play as Togawa, a woman driven to the brink by the crushing demands of her employer. On the verge of ending her life, she’s saved by an unexpected savior, a cat, who offers her a mysterious second chance: expose the corrupt company and fight back. Gameplay is divided between two realms: the real world and the midnight world. Together, they represent one full day, and you can choose how much time to spend in each. In the real world, you explore various office floors, gather temporary boost from sparkly spots, and unravel the personal struggles of fellow employees that will earn you permanent boosts. However, this can only be done if you pluck enough hair from other minor characters. These characters regenerate their hair daily, allowing for repeat interactions. Sparkling spots on the map give temporary bonuses, and while these are randomly placed, you can reset them by changing rooms. The hair mechanic ties into a unique system where you can help people suffering from stress. Importantly, the game is forgiving in progression because you won’t permanently miss out on content if you skip a day or choose to dive straight into the midnight world. The midnight world serves as the…

This is just the good old time RPG maker styled game I've been longing for. Despite its clear core idea of criticizing toxic corporation culture, it's essentially a nice puzzle game with just the right amount of tutorial, level design and dialogues. It keeps giving me a warm feeling of the old style JRPG that I played in my childhood. Among the heavy AA/AAA games, this is a v. amazing surprise as a light-weighted game that is ready to provide you some straightforward jrpg vibe and puzzle solving.

It's a pretty fun little game. Most of the strategy comes from turn order and planning. The story is fun, a good few laughs to be had.

I'm a huge fan of magic towers and I've played other ones made by chinese developers before, even in Chinese itself using translation apps. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this one as a fan of logic puzzles and magic towers. Maybe it's fine if you focus on the story, but the translation to English is incredibly bad, to the point it's actually disturbing. I wish the dev good luck, but I cannot recommend this game to people potentially interested.
