Thoroughly enjoyed; weapon/tool mechanics felt unique and fun to use, progression seemed well-paced, and puzzles were a good mix of clever and challenging. Loved the atmosphere, sounds, art, etc. Had a great time. :)

The aesthetics and overall vibe of this game are great. The black silhouettes with the colorful contrasts and lighting are always nice to look at, and the overall feeling with the strange monster designs, mirrored in the landscape, is neat. All the abilities are either very unique or have unusual attributes that make using them for puzzles, and sometimes combat, interesting. I feel like the puzzle difficulty was pretty well balanced. The game froze up a couple times but restarting the game put me back with minimal to no progress loss. My biggest complaint is that there doesn't seem to be any way to revisit areas, even once you reach the ending, so if you want to go for any collectibles you missed you need to start a new save.
