DeoVR - VR Video Streaming Platform

I tested it with different 8K video files that failed everywhere else and some of my own 360 footage and DeoVR played them all smoothly with no issues. It is also really easy to adjust positioning and to control the media player. I also didn't pay for premium or anything like some reviewers say they had to do to get good quality results, my 8K videos were all super sharp. This thing is literal crap. It's the most blury nonsense that's in the VR space. They force pay for "quality" yet their 8k looks like a razor phone recorded it. The Immersive "videos" are all 2d images layered to make it seem 3d. It's literally the crappiest player on the market..

Index controllers no longer work, so it used to be my go-to but is now useless.

Doesnt work in pcvr. Cant use Quest 2 controllers, only joysticks and buttons work. Have to use head pointer. And no videos play. Just black with continuous loading circles. Standalone on Quest works fine. No idea why this one doesnt.

Got this as it was recommended as the standard player for some VR video content. It does that, and there are lots of nice settings and controls. However, it is clunky with my setup as I have to go between the VR controllers, and Xbox controller, and sometimes the keyboard rather than being able to do everything without switching. Doesn't recognize PSVR2 controllers at all. The content store is cool and I found interesting things, but it obnoxiously tries to sell you a subscription for half of it, and you can't remove those "premium" ones from view. Quality of those videos varies wildly. Some are VR, some are 360, and even some are flat. Most VR vids run ok but others might need a tweak of the resolution to optimize for your setup. I stay on the lookout for a better VR player though as this one has the "premium" bloat and the clunkiness in VR.
