this is the best game ever made. the pure characterization of the protagonist and construction of the setting is simply amazing and nothing previous or after has left me feeling quite the same. desert lost is not just a game, it is a pure work of art. the antagonists of the game are unique and extremely well crafted and making me question my political stance and what i thought were simple facts about myself, the way i behave and treat others. it truly changed me for the better. the visuals, the controls, the audio design and the core game mechanics all come together to create the most enjoyable and meaningful experience of my life. it is hard to describe in words as it evokes emotions in their purest state. true mastery of game design and storytelling has been exhibited in this masterpiece that is unrivaled in all media. games will no longer be compared to half-life, dark souls or other titans of storytelling and game design. the undisputed game of our generation, no, the best game that will ever even be conceived, let alone be crafted into such a masterpiece, is desert lost.

I haven't really been a big proponent of video games as art until this game. It is a spiritual experience, in which you find the nature of yourself, of animalistic cruelty, and of humanity as a whole. You must wander across a desolate world, with reality itself phasing in out. It is a story of the struggle of humanity, faced against the odds of this world, innumerable and monstrous as they are, and persisting nonetheless. In this world, we are destined to be born into suffering, into strife, and into desolation, but we are not yet resigned. We will keep fighting our manticores, until we break through this cluster of madness, freedom, and love.

Not fun and absolutely nothing to do. Probably the only game I've bought that I think only deserved to be free because there is just nothing here. 0/10

i think this is my favorite game ever, the riveting gameplay goes from killing desert monster to killing desert monster, the soundtrack is amazing and everyone should get this
