About Desvelado
Desvelado is the first Bed-Time-Vania game in history! Help our hero Vampy fight insomnia one last time by turning off every light of the castle. In this 2D precision platformer you will overcome challenging puzzles and enemies before going to sleep in your cosy coffin.
GO BAT TO SLEEP!
Vampy might look cute, but he ain't no kid. He can't go to sleep until all the lights in his castle are off. Unfortunately, these annoying ghosts turn them back on all the time. Your mission is to go through different scenarios, solving puzzles, jumping just in time, dodging enemies and passing through walls, to turn off all the lights and complete the game.DON'T WORRY, YOU'RE IMMORTAL
Probably you'll die many times playing Desvelado, but don't worry, you can restart in a blink of an eye! Each room has its solution, but sometimes you can find your own!LUCKILY YOU HAVE POWERS
Vampy has learned a trick or two during his long life. If you consume a red flame, you can dash and turn off that light that seemed too far to reach. But be careful, you can do that once! You'll have to find another red light to do it again. Plan well your movements to solve each puzzle.DON'T BE SLOW!
Ghosts have sometimes had too much sugary drinks and move quite quickly. You will have to be agile in your movements to be able to overcome them!
THIS IS ALL IN MY CASTLE?
Vampy often gets surprised by the amount of strange but familiar mechanics in the rooms of his abode. As you go deeper you will find more challenges to solve!And if you're still sleepless, complete the bonus levels to get all the collectibles!
Also: RUN!
Not everything is about jumping and solving puzzles in this castle. On your journey to your precious bed you may have to escape from lurking dangers!

Charming and silly little game with one fairly big problem. At the end of each level, you get a new part of the map, and are taken to a menu to select which level you want to play next. Fine, except there's no way to enter this menu from the pause menu, you can only enter it via these map parts, so if you back out of the menu as I did a few levels in, you can basically softlock yourself. Even replaying the level from the start does nothing, the map part won't be there at the end and you'll be stuck with no way out. I do honestly quite like the game, and in a few months I'll probably replay it from the start with this in mind, but it seems like such a glaring oversight I felt a need to write a negative review about it.1 found this helpful

While it was tricky at times, the music, art style and overall cozy aura of it made me feel lovely. 10/10 would reccomend to mortals-uh I mean other humans!1 found this helpful
This is practically the definition of short and sweet. Smooth movement and graphics, great music, runs perfectly on the Steam Deck. The best part is easily that death is quick and brings you back to the start of a screen in a blink. The autoscroller sections were the low points though, especially the vertical tower climb at the end. One mistake was painful and death, well, brought me back to the start of the screen. But that is one blemish on a wonderful gem of a game. I do plan to get more of the game's achievements, once I have the courage to!1 found this helpful
What a cute little game with tight controls and *excellent* level design. It's certainly short. (I have plenty of experience with platformers, and I got through it with all collectibles in about an hour and a half.) But it's a great time while it lasts. I'm walking away very pleased with my purchase.1 found this helpful
