DrakulA

Well, this game is good. BUT -it costs too much -short, like 15 minutes short Judge if its worth it yourself

An interesting take on a platformer with a cool mechanic of being able to make your own platforms. 6/10

Van Helsing apparently decided that wooden stakes are useful for both vampire hunting and mountain climbing. The mix of platforming, puzzles, and enemy-stabbing makes for a neat little adventure. Dracula might want to reconsider his home security.

DrakulA is an indie 2D platforming adventure developed and published by Bonittor Games that attempts to capture the atmosphere of classic vampire-hunting stories while presenting a relatively straightforward gameplay experience. Built around simple mechanics and short stages, the game blends light puzzle-solving with traditional side-scrolling action. Rather than aiming for a large-scale adventure filled with complex systems, the title focuses on accessible platforming challenges and environmental interactions, making it more of a compact indie experience designed for quick gameplay sessions. The game places players in the role of a legendary vampire hunter inspired by the well-known figure Van Helsing. The mission is simple but familiar within gothic fiction: hunt down and eliminate the dark forces that threaten the land. The world is populated by supernatural creatures, shadowy environments, and ominous locations that evoke the classic themes associated with Dracula legends. Although the story itself remains fairly minimal, the premise provides enough context to motivate the player’s journey through dangerous environments filled with monsters and traps. VERY Short game ( 30 minutes total, beaten within my 0.2 hour playtime ). Would I spend $5 for this game? Hell no. Am I content with the quality given I got it from a pack of random keys? Hell yes. Most of the games in those packs are utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This one has a solid foundational art style, music is pretty good, and I dig the gameplay loop. If the dev made a longer game, I'd absolutely shill for it and pay full price.
