This is an easy game to get 100% on, but the clunkiness of it is almost unbearable for me. I do appreciate it was made by one person and that is a massive undertaking, but it's full of bugs and the movement is incredibly slow. The mouse interactions are very clunky. It's a fast game but you move really slow. Not a very compelling plot/mystery. Lots of spelling errors/typos etc. Some of the voices sounded like AI generated.1 found this helpful
Gave a bit of an student or AI game vibe, and the places felt empty for a bunch of cases on peoples lives. However given that it was a short experience by an small indy develop team I am willing to let that go. Though I was really hoping the ending was going to be more as I was I just getting invested.
DETECTIVE – Stella Porta Case is a first-person investigative mystery developed by k148 Game Studio and published by JanduSoft that builds upon a grounded, deduction-focused approach to crime solving. Rather than framing itself as an action-driven thriller, the game centers on methodical investigation, careful evidence analysis, and logical reasoning. You step into the role of a police detective assigned to unravel three separate disappearances, all of which appear to be linked to a mysterious organization known as Stella Porta. What begins as isolated cases gradually unfolds into a broader conspiracy, encouraging players to think beyond individual crime scenes and examine the patterns that connect them. The gameplay revolves around exploring crime scenes in first-person perspective and collecting evidence through observation and interaction. Each location is designed to be scrutinized carefully, with objects that can be inspected, photographed, and marked as relevant. Unlike many modern detective games that clearly highlight interactive elements, Stella Porta Case requires players to actively search for clues without excessive guidance. This design reinforces immersion and demand…
I understand this is an indie game, but it can't be that difficult to proofread everything before you try to sell it for this amount of money.
Not a bad quick game, but certainly not without its flaws. The English translation needs some work but its only a little off, not incomprehensible. The game consists of walking through a scene and tagging evidence then trying to put together a timeline after each crime scene. Fairly straightforward once you figure out what to do with the timeline. Some additional clues would have been helpful to figure out precisely where/when each piece belongs on what spot. Quick game, didn't take too long to finish. Price point is a tad high for its playtime, but its not a bad investigation game.
