Cleared the story but got stuck in Carnage versions, which is kinda end-game. There is no way of progressing aside of grinding Item worlds hoping for legendary carnage weapons room chance and passing the time so that your innocents can grow enough, only to later put then in an item and hoping for item replication room. Don't forget about exciting Chara world, subclasses leveling, and extract farming. I should admit though, that the game loop and figuring things out is exciting, as there are a lot of possibilities and combinations, partially thanks to all DLC characters being available. I guess there is no point for waiting later Disgaea games getting released as Complete versions though, which is a shame.1 found this helpful

Y'know, I like this game. I like the larger council options, I like revenge mode, I like the quests system, I like the improvements to ally class progression, etc. I even think the story gets better after what felt like an unbearable first chapter. What I do not like is the map looking as if it's a gust of wind from splitting apart, the intro trailer not loading anymore, and the game crashing my entire computer on a routine action. Seriously, I read that some of NiS' games were bad in glitches and optimization, but experiencing it first-hand makes me never want to buy one of their games again.

79 minutes, and the game crashed 3 times while fighting or after a mission. I didn't do a thorough research, so that's on me, but tried the methods that don't need extra software, none worked. If I have to go without audio, at a reduced performance, I'm sorry, but it's NOT a good game/port. OS: Windows 11 Home Single Language, Version 25H2 Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H (2.70 GHz) RAM: 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU (6 GB) Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics (128 MB) DirectX Version: 12 System Type: 64 bits, processor x64 Doubt this game will ever be patched for modern computers, I don't have more than 100+ USD to get a SteamDeck, and the 2 hours time limit is too restrictive to try. I just send my refund request, hopefully can get something else while the sale is still on and if I get a refund by then.
