Warning: Asset Flip!
District 112 Incident: Bowling Alley is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Racing Bros/ANPA.US, took the Starter Kit #1 Bowling Kit Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Inane Game, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Bonus points to these scammers for leaving this in Early Access, abusing Steam's Early Access program as well as stealing someone else's work to claim as their own. Racing Bros/ANPA.US has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. The game's Steam description highlights accessibility as its primary strength, making it suitable for players who simply want to enjoy a few relaxing rounds of bowling without dealing with complicated mechanics or lengthy tutorials. Its lightweight installation size and compatibility across multiple operating systems further reinforce its role as an easy-to-access game for virtually any PC setup. The gameplay focuses on classic ten-pin bowling with a selection of straightforward modes that cater to both solo and local multiplayer sessions. Players can practice alone, challenge computer-controlled opponents, or compete against another person using shared local controls. While the feature list is intentionally modest, it successfully delivers the core bowling experience without unnecessary distractions. Every match centers on timing, aiming, and improving shot accuracy, makin…
