This game is very likely to be a crypto-miner, has fraudulent positive reviews from the developer and his friends, and is an uninspired clicker game that had no depth. Pick a struggle.

This "game" was a pile of dog... Although on a more serious note I do wonder what is the minimum requirement to be called a game? This so called game consists of a counter that counts your clicks, there are a few achievements for certain number of clicks but beyond that nothing happens and nothing changes. There is no skill, no thought, and no depth or complexity. So why do I have 1000 hours in the game? The hours are because the rest of the achievements require the game to drop inventory items and for you to have 1000 of them in total. Now you can use real money and buy these from the steam market place, think that is the developers intention, or just wait a really really long time. Save yourself the effort and go pick up something else.

Dog is a very simple idle clicker built around collecting dogs and Steam items. I basically spend my time clicking to collect adorable pups, building up my collection and waiting for timed drops. There is not much of a complicated game hidden underneath it, but I think the simplicity is part of what makes it easy to pick up. I can start it, mess around for a little while and leave it running without having to learn a big system first. The collecting is the main reason I would keep coming back. The game has different item rarities, including common, uncommon, rare and legendary items, so there is always the possibility of getting something better. There are also special variants such as Holo and Foil items, along with Sticker Capsules that can contain some of the rarer collectibles. I like the idea of having a small collection to work towards, especially when the rewards can become Steam inventory items rather than only being numbers that disappear inside the game. The biggest problem for me is that the actual gameplay is extremely limited. Clicking is basically the main activity, and once I understand how the item system works there is not much else to master.
