I got 2017 and figured that 2018 would add more option and streamline things. Really isn't any different than 17 but cost $15 more.4 found this helpful
This game is a lot of fun but it crashes way to much. I had a similar issue with draft day sports college basketball 14 and its unbelievable that after 5 years they still haven't been able to fix the crashes. I'll give this a good rating if they ever fix the crashes.3 found this helpful
Wow... As rough and unpolished as this game is (compared to other established sports management games), the engine and flow of action is by far the best basketball sim experience i've ever had. Don't get me wrong, there is a LOT of things that can be improved upon with the user interface and presentation and things 'n tweaks under the hood, for instance lack of comparing players, lack of obvious hyperlinking to make life simple, better layout and i/o on 2d and gamecast screens (Devs, I will try my best to outline what could be improved upon in my opinion, in a future discussion on the forum)... BUT The "Flow "of the game is so damn believable! I can feel the momentum shifts, hot/cold streaks, intuitive proper expected flow like turnovers that lead to uncontested shots/dunks and believable offensive putbacks... Things that are just non-existant in other bb managerial sims at least imo and experiences. Modding to real teams/players/logos/etc takes a bit of effort, but it all is such a rewarding experience to marry with this engine. Worth the time! My only gripe is it's quite a bit of a chore to manually edit the databases for 2018-19.. and I hope the community is working hard o…1 found this helpful
On a gaming computer this game freezes and shuts down
I'm a big fan of other Wolverine titles, but this was very disappointing. The stability of the game is, quite simply, unacceptable. I bought it this week. Played about 10 hours. Uninstalled today. Constant crashes. Look at Gary's other fine titles. I regret this purchase.
If you're into sports sims, this is a very good one. Lots of stats and quite addictive.
