This is a fun and polished (coop) rougelite platformer, and I have no idea why it is sitting at just 5 Steam reviews. Edit: it's also really challenging later on. Beware!

Starts out pretty boring... and the movement is janky. Pass.

No remapping of buttons: I hate shooting with shoulder buttons... And the controls feel mushy in general. The game is actually pretty cute and the soundtrack makes you smile. Would have loved to play this game, but those 2 things mentioned above are deal breakers. Game is out for almost 4 years now, so I don't think they will fix it. Better wait for Bubble Bobble - yes, it is coming.

DragoDino is a deceptively cute yet demanding 2D action-platformer that blends classic arcade sensibilities with roguelike structure and vertical exploration. You play as Bob, a small but determined dinosaur climbing an enormous tree to recover his stolen egg, and this simple premise serves as the foundation for a surprisingly layered and challenging journey. The core structure revolves around upward progression through procedurally generated stages. Each run is divided into multiple vertical levels, and while the overall themes remain consistent, the placement of platforms, enemies, hazards, and collectibles changes every time. This procedural design keeps exploration fresh and unpredictable, forcing players to read environments quickly and react rather than rely on memorization. Movement and jumping are central to survival, and the game places heavy emphasis on mastering vertical mobility, timing, and spatial awareness as the climb becomes more dangerous with each stage. C…

This game is a joy to play through. It has that mix of cute characters, as well as a rewarding difficulty that makes me come back for more. I would recommend this for people who are into platformers. ^v^
