About Dreambound
What's real, and what's only a dream?
Alone, confined within his prison, the man sits, his back slouched and his arm raised.
In his hand, a paintbrush.
A weapon in his eyes, perhaps. A tool that could create something from nothing.
Waves crash onto the white shores. The night sky reflects back on itself, a sea of stars amidst the swirling currents. All is calm, yet not.
But, as it were, that world didn’t exist. Couldn’t exist. It would never exist. It could not be created by this hand.
By this hand, all he could create was loneliness.

When introverted artist Noah finds himself deep within a series of murders, he's forced out of his shell and back into reality—or in his case, back into the dreams of those that wronged him in the past.
Surrounded by grief, will Noah be able to move forward and solve the mystery—or will he give in to the demons of his past?
A tale of loss and love, the past and the future. In the world of dreams, will Noah find a way to face reality?

I wanted to like this, I did at the beginning. I liked the music and the story is interesting as well as the puzzle parts (they even allow you to basically cheat if you choose hint enough so no one should really complain there). The place where it fell apart for me and became boring was some of the dialogues were just too longwinded and some of the attachments felt inauthentic. Too many long stand-around dialogues and not much else. There was also tons of descriptors for the same feeling or mood during some of the introspection/narration that was just too long. The author must think readers can't possibly understand just how intense a feeling is without 10 metaphors. Sometimes felt like other characters were being either therapists, or unemotional. Just began to be too much text that I wanted to skip through as repetitive or not developing anything. I may still try to finish it though its lost my interest for now, may change.6 found this helpful

Dreambound is a narrative-driven visual novel from Two and a Half Studios that blends mystery, romance, and psychological drama into a deeply emotional experience. Rather than focusing on traditional gameplay systems or fast-paced mechanics, the game builds its identity around storytelling, player choices, and character relationships. At its heart, Dreambound is a story about pain, loss, healing, and confronting the parts of life people often try hardest to avoid. Wrapped inside supernatural mystery and dreamlike symbolism, it creates an experience designed to linger long after its final moments. The story follows Noah, a quiet and withdrawn artist whose life has become shaped by emotional isolation and unresolved personal struggles. His ordinary existence begins to unravel when mysterious deaths start occurring around him, forcing him into situations that challenge both his understanding of reality and his ability to move forward emotionally. As strange events escalate, Noah discovers an unusual ability connected to dreams, allowing him to explore memories and hidden truths tied to people around him. Dreams become more than symbolic experiences. They become pathways into emotiona…1 found this helpful

A very good game with a few flaws here and there, would recommend to those who love chaacter driven stories filled with flawed characters who will sometimes piss you off and sometimes make you love them dearly. The music was very good, The game's opening sequence is a visual treat. As you are playing through, I would recommend saving at each choice so your re-plays are easier. And don't forget to save screenshots! There are many wallpaper worthy artworks. The downside is the puzzles. The puzzles that were in the game were good but they were very few in number. Wish there were more to make it more interactive and fun. Otherwise, a solid game with amaizng story and well written characters.
So far I find it good. The story deffinitly keeps you interasted. I am no good at escape rooms though so I had to look up those answers.
