About Drink More Glurp
Party game madness sponsored by Glurp
Drink More Glurp is a wacky physics, sports(ish), hot seat, party game set on a distant world where aliens have copied Earth’s summer games and got everything slightly wrong.

Having binge watched broadcasts of Earth TV the aliens are convinced that advertising is the most important part of any sporting event. Sponsors will randomly take control of events and twist them to fit their agenda, leading to a chaotic galactic summer games like no other.
Run, jump, throw and compete in crazy contests with up to 20 local players in Party Mode or take on the single player Challenge Mode and climb the global leaderboards in a variety of challenges. Watch replays of your friends flailing about or study the top scores to hone your own athletic technique.

With an almost endless number of event and sponsor combinations, Glurp has masses of replayability. Just when you think you are getting the hang of an event, you get laser hands!
Glurp makes for a great spectator game – expect lots of shouting and cheering! Designed to keep the action going with drop in / drop out and defer turn features. One controller is all you need.

Each arm of the athlete is controlled independently with the controller’s sticks. You can move and grab with each arm... and that’s it. Get competitive with your own playstyles and unique techniques.

Drink More Glurp is a deliberately chaotic and gleefully absurd party game developed by CATASTROPHIC_OVERLOAD and published by Yogscast Games that fully commits to turning physical comedy into its core mechanic. Framed as an alien interpretation of Earth’s sporting events, the game imagines a distant civilization recreating Olympic-style competitions with only a vague understanding of how human bodies are supposed to work. This premise is more than just a joke—it informs every design decision, from the wobbly physics to the wildly impractical control scheme, creating an experience that thrives on unpredictability and shared laughter. The defining feature of Drink More Glurp is its control system. Players control their alien athlete using a physics-based scheme where each arm is manipulated independently, usually through analog sticks. On paper, the objectives are simple: run, jump, throw, climb, or balance. In practice, even taking a few steps forward can feel like a monumental achievement. Limbs flail, bodies topple, and carefully planned movements dissolve into slapstick disasters. Rather than frustratingly imprecise by accident, the controls are intentionally awkward, designed …1 found this helpful

a good party game. pairs well with some intoxicants in your system
no game has us cry laughing as consistently as this. amazing with friends on game night,
UPDATE: Still NOT RECOMMENDED because even with a controller, the analog spin inputs start hurting the fingers after a while, making it a health risk. CAVEAT EMPTOR Not recommended because A SCAM and a STUPID CONTROLLER GIMMICK THAT RENDERS IT UNPLAYABLE "Keyboard not supported" Why are all of the Yogscast Games products so F'd up. Keyboard support comes out of the box when you are on PC. There are hundreds of tutorials in how to map keyboard keys and to implement keybinding menus on the Internet. It actually takes extra effort to NOT SUPPORT keyboards. Let me get this straight: you program a game with a keyboard, then you go the extra mile to make it unusable with your game. That reduces the value of the purchase drastically. Not to mention that the controller support is wonky at best and different middlewares work with different controllers. The most likely reason for why this game requires an controller with dual analog sticks because the developers most likely thought that would make their work seem more valuable than it is. There are zero reasons for why these controls could not have been implemented on keyboard or even with normal directional inputs. Because of how the s…
