The island itself is filled with many tricky tasks to overcome, and without fully exploring each of the 9 areas that surround your humble settlement, you won't stand a chance against the mysterious challenger that looms atop the volcano...

As your ambitions grow, so does your flock. Over time you can take your home from a humble campsite to a fully-fledged village, sporting shops, housing, decorations and other interconnected systems that allow the inhabitants to talk to each other and level up their skills. Start your own farm to have more food and drink to go around, or create a town square where learned ducks can stand atop a soapbox and impart their knowledge - it's up to you!

Filling your flock with a rich mix of feathered friends will help to strengthen the overall group. It's going to be a team effort if you want to topple the competition! I like how the game keeps you exploring indefinitely for answers to a problem...
To be honest, I wasn't expecting another game in the series, but here we are with more ducks to turn into champions. Its quite similar to the rest of the series but with a notable emphasis on building a flock and team races. It is also refreshing with how much the graphics overall improved compared to the last game. There's a good amount of variety with all the ducks available and village customization. Training is still tiresome as ever but I feel like it now is more rewarding. It is still just as nostalgic and somewhat buggy as the others but its a good step in the right direction for the series and appreciate how it still manages to have relevance in this day and age.
Nostalgic and fun, but very buggy. During races ducks will be stuck at random places, and the world map you can weirdly clip through. One thing I find that helps with cats being stuck is to esc -> cancel, somehow it would unblock things sometimes. Also the flying training minigame is a mess and it's confusing that sometimes it's not possible to move when I can't see a fan in sight. Also textures sometimes just disappear or starts flashing. ----------------------------------------- 17 hours later: stuck in a race again, hard limiting the FPS to 60 helped. Not sure what's the safe limit but 240 seems to be too much
