i love gambling! my friend got me hooked on this and i ended up try harding it far beyond what he had played and i blame my adhd for it :) i hope to see the other worlds release so there's more content because it can be repetitive, but that is the nature of the game.

This is the best game I've played this year. This game have a fun game loop with the dice, upgrade , and characters. Along with a good art style to boot. If only i had discover the game earlier. Bird and Gambling 9.8/10 Game

Duck N Roll is a super fun time sink. it's casual, it's RNG based, and it gives you just enough tools to play around with a few different playstyles. I personally like spamming coins and collecting an absurd amount of souvenirs. However it could use a lot more to make it great. Right now there are three playable characters who all come with 2 dice unique to only them, which is fun. there's more characters on the way, too, which I think is great. The bosses are my main issue. Some of them aren't too bad like the skunk and the two lizard guys if you play it smart, but the giant fish boss and the ice bird? Ridiculously difficult and nearly impossible to beat unless you've spent your whole time minmaxxing into wood dice, souvenirs and trinkets. the bosses seriously need to be nerfed. I know this isn't a game you're supposed to 'win', but having my run ended by the same boss every time is frustrating and feels like I'm throwing myself at a wall over and over again. Give the bosses a little less shield and a little less starting attack power, and the game will become way more replayable.

Certainly fun, but could use some meta progression to help with the over-the-top final boss. Good for whiling away an hour or so, but don't expect to win.

More consistent than Elder Ring, more fun than any game with an intro, and easily among the top 15 most entertaining games anyone has played this week. And it has been a long week.
