Dummy Pirates: Ocean Tales is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Is this a front for a drug cartel? No one is here, the game plays like the inside of my ass, my ship is purple, and all my Q does is make a purple circle around me. Escape doesn't do anything. I had to Alt F4 to quit. The mission statement of this company reads like the unholy love child of a bipolar pud wacking immigrant and Websters dictionary you found stuck to the bottom of your bus seat. I turned the sound down and yet the game still plays soothing conch shell noises in my ear like its trying to distract me from the weird sherbet vomit on my screen. My kid plays Roblox games on his ipad with more mechanics than this and I've met toilet paper wads with more personality. I guess it was free at least? But like, so is ♥♥♥♥ and at least that has an interesting smell. You a$$hole.

Fun game to play

Pretty alright for being free The visuals are just so yucky tho. Also I don’t understand why a match has to be 20 minutes long, that’s pretty insane and I wasn’t able to check out all the characters and their special abilities because it would take way too long. Take brawl stars for example their battle are like 5-8 minutes if that. Also it isn’t really clear if I’m supposed to attack the other team or the creatures to get points toward the final score. And I think I was supposed to steal some loot but I don’t know how to do that either So overall I feel I need a tutorial and some better graphics maybe closer to real life and not a blob of unruly colors.
