Pirate's Dual

Honestly a boring game. Also, lowkey wtf do they mean 'Dual', nothing about this is a duo, if they mean duel then my god how did they goof that hard!

It's really well-designed, I'm not the type to usually play turn-based games but it piqued my interest, it's going to be even more fun with friends.

Pirate's Dual is a small pirate game that is much more focused than I first expected. I am not running around as a pirate on an island or going through some huge adventure. The whole game is built around two ships facing each other in short battles, with me trying to aim my cannons properly, defend myself and work out how to sink the other ship first. It is a very simple idea, but I like how quickly I can understand what I am supposed to be doing. The 2D pixel art also gives it a nice old school arcade feeling that suits the pirate theme. The actual battles are where the game has the most going for it. I have to think about my attacks instead of just firing as quickly as possible, and the defensive options give me more to consider when it is not my turn to attack. Different attack patterns and special abilities mean I have to think about when I should use them rather than wasting everything immediately. I like that the matches are short because it makes every decision feel important. A bad move does not usually mean I have ruined a two hour campaign. I can learn from it and try again pretty quickly. Fun simple game

I like the new update to the gameplay, more mousepad friendly and overall enjoyable, the game is hard to complete just with the default cannon ball but I don't think it's impossible.
