So after finishing the game my thoughts about it: It is an OK game without anything outstanding. A few not so good parts: grinding; buying equipment is no fun, because you don't see the different properties, only attack for weapons and defense for armor. A few warning words: a) you must love grinding, because without it you don't survive very long. b) be aware that you MUST resurrect dead members of your party before the fight ends...or they are gone forever. c) your last saveslot is also the slot for autosave...save often and use multiple slots! d) beware, this dev doesn't believe in tidy inventory....because you are spammed with different weapons and armor. e) use every minute inside a dungeon at the end of each the monsters are no longer big problems...so easy grinding...and the next dungeon is more dangerous. Can I recommend this game.....if it is on sale...than yes. For the full price: NO

Boredom is a dangerous state of mind. It makes you prone to committing random crimes, or to playing games you never wanted to play - like this one. "Dungeon Crawler Daniel" is this developer's "black sheep". It has many of the ingredients that make this developer's games great (check out the Steam pages and my reviews for Wolfs Moon Studios' games like "Angel Made", "Seventh Star" or "Violet Kingdom"), though instead of being an epic classic old-school JRPG, you get a generic dungeon crawler with time limits, permadeath and annoying auto-save (which forces you to always save on two different slots). Fortunately, it's possible to grind without being bothered by time limits at the beginning of the dungeon floors 1, 6 and 8 (out of 9), which was without a doubt the saving grace that motivated me to play through this game, though I think the game can - and should - be completed rather in 10 hours than in the 40 hours it took me to finish my playthrough. So yes, I had fun (sort of and occasionally), and in its own right, it's not a bad game (thus my "recommendation"/thumbs-up), but considering the developer's other games, "Dungeon Crawler Daniel" simply pales in comparison.

Pure trash, rpgm game with perma death and game autosaves even on gameover, I can't begin to understand the level of idiocy involved in making this game.

This game was an interesting concept. The dev has an extraordinary imagination to come up with his games. I usually do not like dungeon crawlers, but I did enjoy playing this game. I had a strategy, excape battles until the floor is explored, then go after the boss, and if I did not get transported out, I grinded until time was almost up. I used my money to by breads to level up everyone between fights. In the end it worked perfectly. I did miss the family relic on floor 6 for the town resident.

The second part of the dungeon really killed it for me. I couldnt rest my guys and figured out way later that if your team loses, they get replaced. The npc said i could teleport out after awhile but i kept getting frustrated and never got to that part. Only recommended to people who have paitence for this kind of game. I found out way later how to spend the ap points which made the game a lot esaier. I played free games like this like the sovergien and this game doesnt compete. I respect thats its trying to be a funny dungeon rpg but man does it drag. Also 10 bucks is a lot for me. Not worth it.
