Weird, slow, boring, repetitive AI slop...

The armored goblin taught me a valuable lesson: filling your spellbook with fancy status effects means nothing when you forget to bring actual damage. The combat is simple to understand, but experimenting with spells and building around whatever you find makes each run surprisingly addictive. Also, the Russian voice acting is completely unhinged-in the best possible way.

A rare roguelike where losing doesn’t make you immediately hit Alt+F4. Sometimes you actually want to see what the next new goblin will do to Ellie. Then you come back with a different set of spells just to show him who’s boss. Extra points for the voice acting and top-tier goblin swearing.

A surprisingly addictive little game. The combat is simple to understand, but building your character and finding better combinations of spells and upgrades keeps each run interesting. Great for short sessions, and the adult content is a nice bonus.

A dark turn-based roguelike with magic and a lot of adult content. I have a very large Steam library and have played most of what this genre has to offer, and this one still managed to feel like something new. Simple, well-made, and worth playing — just not at full price. 1. Runs last 2-8 minutes, so it fits a short session well. 2. Resources come from killing mobs and the run's final boss, plus rare events like goblin stashes. They carry over between runs, so upgrades accumulate rather than reset on death. 3. I beat the Goblin King in about 5 hours. After that I kept playing to unlock all the arts — roughly 90% of the content was exhausted by hour 10. 4. There's an endless run mode with a world distance leaderboard, but it didn't hold me. 5. Difficulty isn't progressive, it's uneven: the early game demands a lot of farming to afford upgrades one at a time, and by upgrade level 2-3 it becomes easy enough to finish without full progression. 6. Events aren't spread evenly across a run. You can hit 4-5 of them packed into a short stretch before a boss, then 1-2 across a huge segment. 7.
