If I have one complaint, it’s the nature of this specific Steam release. This isn't a remaster; it’s a raw, untouched copy of the 2001 game. It seems to be based on the Lithuanian version (judging by the mention of "Akelotė ir Ko", a local publisher back in the day). Since this version is untouched, the max resolution is capped at 1024x768 with black bars. However, you can easily bypass this by using a graphics wrapper like dgVoodoo 2 or by making a few simple registry edits. It’s a quick fix, and there are plenty of guides (or AI tools) that can walk you through it in minutes. I’ll admit I might be a bit biased since this was my very first racing game when I was 8 years old, but I strongly disagree with the reviews claiming the difficulty is "unfair." Even though it’s an arcade racer, the cars have a real sense of weight. The physics and damage models mean you can’t just wall-ride or smash through corners to win. Since there’s no ABS, you have to tap the brakes to prevent your wheels from locking up. You’ll often need to lift off the accelerator before entering a turn - just like it should be. The opponents engage in "dirty racing" and will try to spin you out. It’s aggressive, …

For obviously a budget title, I gotta say: both my younger and current self remain quite impressed. Really love that the game incorporates the damage mechanic that encourages the player to drive carefully and not resort to bumping your opponents out of your way. Getting your car battered big time can result in you being physically unable to compete in a race due to the crippled performance of your car. This is one of those racing games where "gitting gud" is the key. I would also point out that the physics, on certain occasions, can result in quite a spectacle of a crash. SUCH a spectacle, in fact, that you might want to keep a replay (the game has that function, by the by) to rewatch it. Might as well create a compilation of those later and post on YouTube. If I have to nitpick, it would be the following: - the car engines sound the same, regardless of the car. - there are no car specs to be seen. You have to take the freshly unlocked car for a race in order to determine its pros and cons as you're driving it. Nothing but your own raw perception. Overall, I still wish to recommend this game. This one, in my opinion, can give you a fair challenge. P.S: Thank goodness this rele…

even though I have not played this when I was a kid, I still had a feeling of nostalgia with this one. This game feels like a blast that a kid would remember for years back then. It's actually pretty neat, I'd say! I enjoyed the handling quite a lot and somehow that championship system based on leftover money is actually brilliant! Despite it being rather short, this is how games back then were like...either this or insanely huge races like in World Racing. Nothing in between lol

Hi, thank you for releasing this game on Steam after even these years :) You all made me feel like a happy child again, I am feeling so happy I've never been. For the past week, this game suddenly popped into my head, and you wouldn't believe how frantically I searched for it. (I searched forums, I tried to describe the game if anyone knows, I went thru all the archives on the net and finally I repaired the charger for my IBM Thinkpad just to find it annd I DID IT :))) ) About 13-15 years ago, my uncle came home one morning with a few newspapers. Inside were the CD for this game. I had bought the CD from him, and I ran to put it in my computer. I don't know, time flew by, but this game never left my hands. The music, the vehicles, the tracks... everything was amazing for little me, I was playing this game for uncountable hours and even though I was terrible at it, I enjoyed it immensely. This game was my the biggest joy. I still play it that way now. I found my little pure joy. You can't imagine how warm my heart feels; I'm so glad you put this game on the platform, even though it's 2026. You made little me so happy, I'm so grateful, I could even cry. I don't remember ever scre…
