Kinda of disappointed because i really want to like this game and it seems like there are a lot of cool mechanics but some of the choices made are just confusing to me. Enemies health bars are so massive and you hardly do any damage that combined with the overheat mechanic (which frankly doesn't really add much to the gameplay other than to be annoying) im not really sure how you're supposed to approach these levels. It feels like im just supposed to run past all the enemies but there are so many and the screen gets filled with them and theres not much you can do about it because of the poor damage so you just end up taking even more damage which just makes this game extremely frustrating to me. Is there some sort of mechanic im missing? I know there is a leveling system but it doesnt really seem to be helping much and enemies are still extreamly tanky and not satisfying to fight because of that so im not really sure how im supposed to play this game because trying to play it like its megaman zero or megaman x you will find urself taking loads of damage and having to abuse iframes. I also tried going back to a previous level to try and get stronger but it turns out revisiting level…

I've only been playing this for like 2 hours so far, but I'm already quite impressed with the quality of this game, which in my opinion easily surpasses that of plenty of $40+ games in my library. I feel like this game is more than just some mere imitative attempt by an indie dev to slavishly (re)create Royalty Free Mega Man X - that it stands on its own merits - which is a problem nowadays with so many indie titles just coming off as soulless, albeit highly polished recreations of the source material that inspired them. Anyways I hope Cat Yard keeps doing what he's doing with things like this and MMX VN, seems like a really talented dev.

Highly recommend the game is addictive and CatYardGames doesn't disappoint went from playing one of his fan games to this both a great experience if you love Mega man X like gameplay this nails it hrs of fun to be had

if you love megaman X series, this is the game for you! the original game is this amazing despite it is in early access, so.. support it! price is great, game is amazing, no reason to skip it! give it a try!

One of the best action platformers I've played in a very long time. If you're a Megaman X fan you'll love this.
