Had a Ball.3 found this helpful
Balls of all kinds are such a fun toy to play with that everyone loves. Tennis balls, basketballs, soccer balls, and so many more, there are just so many different types of balls to choose from! This is the story of a Ball The WEAPONEER. This Ball kicks A$$.2 found this helpful
Overall OK, sadly nothing special. Things of note: - it takes under an hour to finish (which is a bit low, but then it was getting a bit tedious, the concepts are really simple, so probably a good call). Maybe a bit low for the price. - There are some fun sequence skips you could do, intentional or not they are always welcome. - There are no achievements, single life/continue clear would maybe make it stay a little longer. - the visual choices don't serve it too well. It's often not clear where the enemies will shoot and the screen is too small. At this graphic complexity give me a hat or maybe weapons reskins, not only palettes! It'll literally take 3 minutes to draw a top hat or an axe that matches this style xd - The sword concept feels a bit underexplored. It's clear the developer put work in, but it lacks soul and spice to be something worth remembering. Probably better on a smaller screen, like a steam deck. I'd probably be interested to see a reimagining/sequel now that all those years have passed. And if you're by chance reading this review (doubt anyone will) and you liked weaponeer, see Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio. Maybe you'll enjoy that too.2 found this helpful
