at times hard to navigate The dark eye as it was called originally called is a fantastic display of mixed medium art and a truly intresting and conceptial piece of gaming, Its esscene can be seen in a lot of indie horror today.
This game is by no means perfect, in fact, it is incredibly jank at certain points but my god, it is just so unbelievably charming. The fact that this game is even on steam at all is nothing short of a miracle. Being objective and pushing (almost) all of my bias aside; this is a solid 6/10, assuming you're at least a little forgiving of the age infused issues.
Really incredible atmosphere.
A very nice adaptation of E. A. Poe's stories with stop motion animations. The game has some bugs that make you restart a chapter, but it's still very much enjoyable if you like this type of horror and animations.
