The cars control like wet cardboard and there are only 15 small maps to choose from. The singleplayer tag is highly misleading as there no bots - if you're not playing local co-op, all you can do is drive in circles around a track.

Steering, acceleration, and braking are easy to grasp, allowing new players to jump in with minimal explanation. What gives the races their personality are the unpredictable elements layered on top of basic driving.
