✦ AI summary

Players appreciate this free indie game for its charming, retro pixel aesthetic and low storage requirements, though opinions vary on its difficulty. While some find it fun and chill, others note that it demands expert timing and precision, making it frustratingly hard despite its simple premise. The game seems best suited for players who enjoy classic arcade-style challenges and don't mind a steep difficulty curve.
Elec Dude - 6/10
Please for the love of god don't make the most common texture in your game a strobe light

Elec Dude is a short puzzle game where you have to maneuver through a level to collect all the electricity while dodging bugs(?). There's only 20 levels so it's fairly short, but it's fairly difficult for it's length. The music, which is limited to one short, looping track outside of two levels, has very defined beats but the enemies do not move to it. Most of the enemies instead move smoothly between tiles instead of jumping like you do, apart from one which nearly matches up to the beat but desyncs enough to trip you up. This, while strange, could be forgiven if they actually moved the way they displayed, but I'm fairly sure they actually just jump like you do and only preten…

It's a pretty good game. The difficulty goes up a bit quickly and it can get a bit frustrating but you'll still have a good time if you're patient and able to go slow unlike me. A short experience too so you lose nothing by trying it. The repetetive music is the only other major thing bringing it down

like most retro games and retro style games, it's extremely frustrating. still, it's pretty fun as long as you're an expert at timing and button mashing.
