Each decision influences certain future events, but not as much as in similar games. Unfortunately, some decisions will only change dialogues, but will not affect the global events and plot of the game. The war table system improves the situation a bit, but it only appears after some time. Also, during the gameplay, two buttons are available in the menu: characters and codex, where you can read additional information. So if you're used to influencing every event in the game and replaying the game for different endings, that's not the case here at the moment. Perhaps these branching …

So I finally finished the base game with the wheel of fate free DLC that follows Chapter V. I love the game up until and including chapter V. The story and the characters are amazing, it is visually appealing, the sound and music fit so well, there is nothing I do not like about it. Maybe one sour point for me is, that the 2 female leads from chapter 1 are not really playing a role anymore for the rest of the game, but I would have loved to explore those characters more. Would the game ended here, it would be a 10/10 for sure. Buuuuuut then there is the Wheel of Fate DLC following Chapter V...... and although some aspects of it I enjoyed, most of it I did not. You get to know more of the lore, but most of this DLC / continuation of the story happens against a static map image or black background, it feels not so alive as the game before. Also, I feel the gap between Chapter V and this DLC of 6 months is poorly explained, it feels alien to the main game and boring over some time. This DLC alone I would give 4/10 So both combined, as you get both at the same time, since the dlc was an update to the base game, overall my rating is 8.5/10. This is a very good VN. It has a good story and some sexy girls. It starts a little slow, but does get better as it goes. He is a 'favorite' of a surprisingly caring goddess, and I don't think she will ever let him die. He cares for the women he allows to travel with him, and a few others as well. I have been looking forward to advancements to this game for quite some time, and they are happening now. This game is in my top 10% and I recommend it highly.

So boring! It repeated dialog multiple times in the first chapter. Plus nothing makes sense such as: ALL humans hate elfs (except for the MC of coarse) just because they are not human. No deep reason or bad history. Just Racist. Also they are traveling for no particular reason, only like coin not supplies (like they can eat gold or something), etc.

This one was effing amazing until the Wheel of Fate DLC came out. It jumped the shark at that point. It slid off the rails. It became like watching a JJ Abrams show. The story telling completely changed, it became super complicated, and the MC became someone I didn't want to spend anymore time with.
