Empires Shall Fall is a turn-based tactics game set in a dieselpunk world. Upgrade your army and command your troops, then exploit terrain to eradicate your enemies with sheer power and sharp tactics.
The Great War is being waged between the Black Empire and the Blue League. For a long time, these two superpowers have struggled for domination. Take control of either faction in this turn-based tactics game and launch attacks to crush the opposition!
Inspired by classics, Empires Shall Fall uses a grid-based map with easy-to-learn controls. Use the terrain to your advantage by strategically moving units across the board. Choose your position — will you join the aggressive, war-waging Black Empire, or support the Blue League’s holy conquest?

Just simpely awesome game. In the old days I loved to play Advance Wars and this game plays and feels like it. Can recommand to everyone who loves those kind of games. I hope they bring a DLC or another game just like this in the future. I have been playing this on my Steamdeck all the time and it plays wonderfull! Bought this on steam sale. This game is an absolute advance wars clone. 100% copied, nothing original in here at all . The tech trees are nice and simple and the UI is pretty much spot on. If you like this style of strategy, its very unoffensive. Plus points for the scenarios not dragging on. My biggest gripe is it is a little too safe perhaps. this game started out with promise to be a really solid war tactics game. its very similar to advance wars in gameplay but the game design is terrible. I was happy with the first several missions, although some of them were way too easy. After a while I came to a mission that was stupidly hard for no reason. I couldnt create any units and was just overwhelmed every time. This seems like its intentional bc the game likely has nothing more to offer
Solid advanced wars clone. I liked it.
