About Emplacement

Description
Emplacement is an innovative and strategic turn-based game that combines elements of tile-laying and combat. The game is played on an isometric board, with each player taking turns to place tiles in an attempt to gain the upper hand over their opponent. The game is similar to chess in that players must think ahead and anticipate their opponent's moves in order to succeed.
As the game progresses, players can use their units to engage in combat with the other player's units. The main objective of the game is to defeat the other player by killing their king. The king is a special unit that is placed on the board at the start of the game, and should be protected by other units. The game is won by the player who successfully kills the other player's king.
Emplacement is a challenging and entertaining game that requires players to think creatively and strategically. The game's isometric perspective and turn-based gameplay add depth and excitement to the experience, making it a must-play for fans of strategy games. The game's simple yet engaging mechanics make it accessible to players of all ages and skill levels, making it an excellent choice for both casual and hardcore gamers alike

I've only played a short amount so far but I can see that there's a lot of Improvements over the demo build. The new survival mode and normal mode are a lot of fun too. After a few updates I can see it being an S tier game so far it's A+ just needs a little more maybe power ups or unique units/heroes you can get as a path reward in normal mode or surviving a certain amount in survival would add a lot of depth/strategy too. Also the new races/kingdoms are super cool to play too with unique mechanics. Excited to unlock the rest after I progress a little more in the game. Gonna see if I can get some friends to try out the Multiplayer as I bet there's some fun strategy's to try there. The Dev was also incredibly kind to me and gave me a free steam key for playing the demo a while back. Really excited to play more. Game is definitely worth the price, literally the cost of a starbucks/costa for a game that's fun and has some unique mechanics that are refreshing to see. (Also beat my survival turn time of 32) It's tough lol3 found this helpful
Amazing, unbalanced, and beautiful. Perfect game to relax with at night. I wouldn’t say the bots are much of a challenge, so maybe find a friend to play with.2 found this helpful

Can't believe how engrossed I got in this! What started out as a very simple tactics game presented more challenges gradually, until I was surprised at the intensity. There are some QoL changes I could imagine (one misclick in particular made me waste 5 turns ;_;) but overall I'm excited to see where this one goes, both in the remainder of the game and in future updates and expansions!!2 found this helpful
This has been loads of fun so far, for a very cheap price. It's easy to get into, looks great, I really like the floortiles and creating big armies. Great time killer!1 found this helpful
Innovative little game - kind of tetris meets advance wars!
